Part of the James Braid Golf Trail, West Linton Golf Club carries the mark of one of golf's most prolific course designers. Braid laid out this 18-hole moorland course in the hills of Upper Tweeddale, Scotland, with Mendick Hill and the Pentland Hills forming the backdrop. The course opened in 1890 and plays to a par of 69 on semi-private access. Rated 4.8 by 50+ Hole19 golfers, it is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Scotland. West Linton has also been voted the friendliest golf course in the Scottish Borders. The pro shop offers a warm welcome to visiting golfers.

In beautiful condition and challenging, especially the last three holes. Fantastic scenery and wildlife. Well worth a visit.
