Rated 4.5 by 80+ Hole19 golfers and one of the most-played courses in North Rhine-Westphalia on Hole19, West Golf Troisdorf (Players) is a public 9-hole layout in Troisdorf, Germany, designed by Francois Bouchard and opened in 2009. The course plays to almost 3,000 metres across terrain shaped with wavy modelling of plus or minus 2 metres, bunkers, dense vegetation, and water hazards. Hole 9 is a 125-metre par 3 finishing on an island green. Practice facilities are extensive. The driving range stretches 300 metres, accommodates 70 or more players at once, and includes 18 covered heated bays, grass tees, floodlights, target greens, and video analysis. The putting green covers 800 sqm with course-quality undulation and floodlights. The short game area — claimed to be the largest in NRW at almost 10,000 sqm — has four target greens, chipping, pitching, and bunker practice, all floodlit. PGA instructors offer beginner and advanced courses as well as 4-week course-readiness programmes. The clubhouse includes a PXG Fitting Center, Callaway Fitting Station, Trackman Range, and a Trackman Indoor Golf simulator with 200 or more courses. The pro shop stocks equipment from Under Armour, Callaway, Titleist, and FootJoy. Restaurant El Olivar is on site.

Oliver LinnFebruary 12, 2025West Golf in Troisdorf bietet eine einladende Atmosphäre für Golfer aller Spielstärken. Die Anlage verfügt über einen 9-Loch Players Course, der besonders für Anfänger geeignet ist, sowie einen 9-Loch Trainings Course (Par 3), der ohne Mitgliedschaft und Platzreife bespielbar ist. Ein Highlight ist das 9. Loch des Players Course, ein maßstabsgetreuer Nachbau des berühmten Inselgrüns von Loch 17 des TPC Sawgrass in Florida.  Die Übungseinrichtungen sind großzügig gestaltet und umfassen eine Driving Range mit 70 Abschlägen, von denen 18 überdacht sind, sowie Bereiche zum Putten, Pitchen und Chippen. Die Anlage ist ganzjährig geöffnet, und Gäste sind jederzeit herzlich willkommen. Für 9 Löcher liegt das Greenfee zwischen 40 und 45 Euro, abhängig vom Wochentag.  Die Bewertungen der Anlage variieren. Einige Spieler loben die freundliche Atmosphäre und die Eignung für Neugolfer, während andere den Pflegezustand und die landschaftliche Gestaltung kritisieren. Insgesamt scheint West Golf besonders für Golfeinsteiger und Spieler, die eine schnelle Runde in entspannter Umgebung suchen, geeignet zu sein. 
Marco BraunJuly 05, 2020Sehr schöne 9 Loch Anlage. Egal ob auf dem Players Course oder Kurzplatz. In beiden Fällen kommt man voll auf seine Kosten. Die Driving Range und das Übungsgelände bieten viel Platz sodass man in Ruhe seine Schläge egal in welcher Form üben kann. Nach der Runde bietet das Restaurant noch das gewisse Ambiente um den Abend oder den Nachmittag in Ruhe ausklinken zu lassen.

Alexander WettmannJuly 30, 2017Schöner Platz, guter Pflegezustand, relativ abwechslungsreich, wenn auch etwas flach, die anderen Spieler sind recht entspannt, Gastronomie ist nicht so gut sortiert (z.B. kein Pils vom Fass), insgesamt empfehlenswert.
