Walnut Creek Country Club

Walnut Creek Country Club is a private 18-hole course in Walnut Creek, North Carolina, designed by Ellis Maples and opened in 1967. Stretching to 7,053 yards, the layout incorporates private lakes, water hazards, bunkers, and trees throughout the routing. Hole 9 is a standout, surrounded by water and protected by a bunker to the right. Practice options include a driving range, top-notch short game facilities, and private lessons. The pro shop is stocked with all the essentials. The clubhouse includes a formal dining room with a view of Lake Wakena, the Lakeside Room, and the Fairway Bar for a more relaxed meal. Modern locker and shower facilities are also on site, along with a grand Ballroom featuring one of Wayne County's largest parquet wooden dance floors and multiple meeting spaces. The club has hosted Pro-Am tournaments.
