Viveiro Golf Course is beautifully integrated into the natural landscape and offers a truly impressive playing experience. The front nine holes feel slightly more compact and tighter compared to the back nine, giving them a distinct character. However, at hole 12, the course reveals one of its highlights: it stretches toward the sea, offering breathtaking views that elevate the entire round. A minor downside is that the back nine holes are not yet integrated into Hole19. That said, the course quality is outstanding. The greens are in immaculate condition and not only match the standard of German courses but, in some cases, even surpass those of some local clubs. The fairways are equally well maintained. The consistently strong wind, often exceeding 35 km/h, adds an extra layer of challenge but is very much part of the course’s identity and makes each round exciting. Is it expensive for a course located in the middle of the Atlantic? Perhaps. But for me, the experience was absolutely worth the price. One practical detail: if you play with your own clubs and end up in a waste area, you’ll quickly appreciate the small piece of artificial turf provided.

For beeing in Mid of Nowhere its a very good place. Greens are better than in some German Places. Definitely recommend when you visit Sal.

I like the course. Very friendly club. Flavio is a mega PRO. Soon there will even be 18 holes. Fair price-performance ratio. I'll be back

A developing course, fairways and greens are great. But , it's tight and the areas just off the fairways are as bad as 20 yards off them. The old to grass rule sometimes just must be used or the clubs won't survive( they are hired though) . Red carpet welcome and great staff. The wind makes it even more fun if you like a challenge
