Uphall Golf Club is a par 69 parkland course in Uphall, Scotland, and a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Scotland. The course is designed to be fair yet challenging, with the goal of delivering an enjoyable all-round experience. It has traditionally played tough relative to its par, carrying a Standard Scratch Score that long sat at 67 — a notably stern rating against a par of 69. In 2011, a series of changes persuaded the Scottish Golf Union to revise the SSS upward to 68. Those changes included a toughened 11th hole, new bunkering across the course, and the extension of the 3rd hole to 175 yards from the back medal tee. The club considers 68 a fairer reflection of the challenge the 18-hole layout presents.
