The layout runs through towering dunes and across undulating fairways, with cliff top tees and greens adding exposure throughout the round. Punishing rough borders the playing corridors. Practice options are extensive. The driving range runs 300 yards with five covered coaching bays, a high-end golf studio, and grass tees for up to 25 golfers. A 9-hole putting green sits in front of the clubhouse, and a dedicated 6-hole par 3 course covers holes ranging from 80 to 195 yards. The bar looks out over the course through a wall of glass and serves Guinness alongside a relaxed post-round atmosphere. The pro shop carries Tralee Golf Club branded merchandise.

If Carlsberg made golf courses. It really doesn’t get much better than this. A serious challenge in a spectacular setting and the most amazing staff to look after you thrown in. Take time to enjoy great food and views to match in the clubhouse. This is truly a ‘bucket list’ golf course.
