Description
Hole 16 at TPC Scottsdale (Stadium) earns its nickname "The Coliseum" during tournaments, drawing some of the loudest galleries in golf. The course has hosted the WM Phoenix Open and the Waste Management Phoenix Open, cementing its place on the American tournament calendar. Designed by Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf and opened in 1986, this 18-hole public desert layout in Scottsdale, Arizona sits among the McDowell Mountains foothills, with natural ravines cutting through Sonoran Desert terrain. Golfweek Magazine has named it one of America's Best Courses, and it is rated 4.8 by 90+ Hole19 golfers. Instruction is available with Director of Instruction Rob Rashell, using Trackman launch monitor and Boditrak technology. The pro shop has been named one of the top 100 Golf Shops in North America and carries premium rental clubs from six brands. Toro Restaurant & Rum Bar serves pan-Latin cuisine in a collaboration with celebrity chef Richard Sandoval, with over 150 rums, live music on weekends, and Sunday brunch.

Caleb DavisAugust 06, 2019This course rocked! Fairways were lush and green, tee boxes were on point, and greens were putting true at about a ten on the stint meter. Josh in the pro shop was very friendly and helpful and the outside service staff was courteous and examined where we needed to go as we were first time golfers here.

Staff was great - excellent pace of play and the course was in fantastic shape. TPC lives up to the name for sure.

Conditions weren’t too good this time of year. Lot of repair work on the course. Save yourself some money and play Troon (monument) Course.
