Grayhawk Golf Club (Talon)

Grayhawk Golf Club (Talon), a public 18-hole, par-72 layout in Scottsdale, Arizona, stretches between 6,973 and 7,151 yards across the Sonoran Desert. Designed by David Graham and Gary Panks and opened in 1994, the course routes through box canyons and natural arroyos, with Mesquite, Palo Verde, and Ironwood trees lining the fairways and the McDowell Mountains providing a constant backdrop. The Talon has hosted the NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Golf Championships (2021–2023), the Frys.com Open (2009), the Andersen Consulting World Championship of Golf, the Williams World Challenge, WM Phoenix Open and Waste Management Phoenix Open pro ams, the Thunderbird International Junior (2000–2019), and the National Car Rental PGA Jr. League Championship (2016–2022). It holds a place on Golf Magazine's Top 100 You Can Play in the U.S. and appears on Golfweek and Golf Magazine lists of the best public courses in Arizona. The Grayhawk Learning Center provides personalized instruction from half-day workshops to three-day golf schools. The Golf Shop & Trading Company carries apparel, equipment, and accessories, including one of the largest selections of women's golf merchandise in Scottsdale.
