Stunning coastal scenery, well drained, sandy soil, a relaxed ambience and a LOT of gorse bushes, so pack spare balls. While you can’t expect the same attention to bunkers and fairways as a top price course (hence only 4 stars) it is well maintained and the greens are perfect. It’s challenging, which can be frustrating for a mid-high handicapper like me but it means you never get bored and just keep coming back for more. Plus, you can walk your dog at the same time. I LOVE it.
