The Springhaven Club

The Springhaven Club, a private 18-hole course in Nether Providence Township, Pennsylvania, has been in play since 1904 and was designed by Ida Dixon. The layout runs 6,100–7,100 yards to a par of 72 across relatively flat terrain shaped by narrow fairways, tight tree lines, more than 80 bunkers, and five holes with water hazards. Three holes stand out for their difficulty. Hole 2 is a par five where a barranca crosses 20 to 35 yards short of the green. Hole 6 is a par three requiring a full carry over water on the tee shot. Hole 7 plays as the hardest hole from the members tee, with out of bounds running the entire length down the right side. The club has hosted the Springhaven Cup Invitational, the Horace Rawlins Invitational, and the WGAP Ida Dixon Cup. Practice facilities include a TrackMan Range, an expansive putting green, a short-game area with two bunkers and 60 yards of fairway turf, and two indoor simulator bays equipped with TrackMan IO technology. The Golf Shop is fully stocked year-round and open to the public.
