Description
Paxon Hollow Country Club has hosted the Philadelphia PGA Junior Tour, making it a notable stop for competitive golf in Pennsylvania. Designed by Francis Warner and J. Franklin Meehan and opened in 1927, the 18-hole public course sits on sloping terrain above Cobb's Creek. The driving range, situated between the 1st and 3rd holes, runs about 200 yards deep with a natural grass tee area and is available for irons only. Private lessons, group clinics, junior clinics, camps, and leagues are offered on site. Malley's Golf Shop, managed by Dan Malley, PGA Professional, stocks apparel, accessories, and merchandise. Anthony's at Paxon Hollow serves as the on-site restaurant and banquet facility. Rated 4.3 by 60+ Hole19 golfers and one of the most-played courses in Pennsylvania on Hole19.
