The Royal Belfast Golf Club

Rated among the most respected private courses in Northern Ireland, The Royal Belfast Golf Club draws consistent praise from Hole19 golfers for its layout and setting. Designed by Harry S. Colt and opened in 1926, this 18-hole parkland course runs to 6,309 yards along the shores of Belfast Lough, United Kingdom. Gorse, bunkers, and contoured greens define the terrain throughout. Hole 9, a 408-yard par-4 running beside the Lough, is widely regarded as the course's most difficult. Hole 4 is a compact par-3 of 142 yards guarded by bunkers, while hole 8 carries out-of-bounds the full length of its left side. Practice facilities include a short iron practice range and a putting green, both private to the club. The clubhouse provides a choice of stylish bars, locker rooms, welcoming lounges, and a terrace by the water.
