Description
Designed by Frank Pennink and opened in 1969, The Old Course Vilamoura is a resort course in Quarteira, Algarve, Portugal. Its 18 holes run through mature pine trees across rolling fairways, giving the layout a settled, shaded character that sets it apart from the region's more open designs. The course has hosted the Grande Troféu de Vilamoura 2026 and the XXVIII International Golf Classic. It was named Portugal's Best Golf Course 2025 at the World Golf Awards, and is rated 4.8 by 200+ Hole19 golfers. The newly renovated Clubhouse includes a gastropub offering cuisine and fine beverages, and a pro shop stocked with apparel, accessories, and equipment.
