The Meadows at Grand Valley State University

The Meadows at Grand Valley State University is an 18-hole, public, links-style course in Allendale Charter Township, Michigan, designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan. Wetlands and well-bunkered greens define the layout, which holds a Golf Digest four-and-a-half star rating and ranks as one of the most-played courses in Michigan on Hole19. The tournament record is substantial: the course has hosted 9 NCAA National Championships and 24 MHSAA High School State Championships. Practice facilities are extensive. The driving range has over 110 bent grass hitting areas and 9 sheltered hitting bays. A 15,000 square foot putting and chipping green and a dedicated bunker practice area with multiple bunkers are also on site. Instruction is available through Laker Golf clinics led by Laker coaches, Head Golf Professional Steve Milewski, PGA, and Director of Instruction Gareth Lappin. The Golf Shop carries golf equipment and apparel at competitive prices.
