Description
Wallinwood Springs Golf Club, one of the most-played courses in Michigan on Hole19, offers 18 holes of distinctly split character in Georgetown Township. The front nine plays in a Scottish style — open and exposed, where wind becomes a genuine weapon. Berms, mounds, and more than 30 sand traps punish wayward shots, while large, undulating greens challenge even skilled putters. Water comes into play on three of the front nine holes and demands careful planning each time. The back nine shifts the challenge dramatically. A 26-acre man-made lake threatens five of the nine holes, and the Grand River runs alongside the 10th, 11th, and 12th, with woods tight on the left leaving almost no margin for error. The 13th is a 165-yard par 3 requiring a full carry over water, while the 15th features an island green reachable only from 185 yards away. Hole 16, a par 4 stretching over 400 yards, may be the toughest on the course — it has an island tee and water flanking both sides of the fairway. The closing par 5 at 18 doglegs right and rewards precise, powerful driving while punishing any hint of greed.

Kelvin SandersOctober 12, 2025Greens need work on a very good looking course to play
Bill DeWittJuly 29, 2024Front nine easier than back. Good improvement over last year.
Michael JohnsonSeptember 04, 2021So much potential! This course has some really great holes that are challenging and nicely laid out but some of the fairways are half kind of a crab grass, there were a number of wet patches that were roped off due to poor drainage. The club house area looks like a total dump when you pull up to it and there is a moment I thought to myself “what have I gotten myself into”. For the price it is a good course but with some investment it could be really great!
