Description
The Groves Golf Course is a public 18-hole executive course in The Meadows, Florida, designed by architect Arthur Hills. Conveniently located just off I-75 and University Parkway, it is a short drive from Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, and Venice. Playing to a par 65, the course features nine par 4s, eight par 3s, and one par 5. Tight fairways and sloping greens place a premium on shot placement and accuracy, giving the layout the feel of a full championship par 72 despite its shorter par. This is not a typical short course. The variety of hole types and the demands of the design make for a challenging, rewarding round that holds up well on repeat visits.
