The Crossings Golf Club

The Crossings Golf Club is an 18-hole championship layout in Richmond, Virginia, designed by Joe Lee on land that once marked the northern border of the Chickahominy Swamp during the Civil War. The site served as a hiding place for outlaws and a staging area for troop movements, and the surrounding Civil War battlefields remain part of its distinctive setting. Ranked among the commonwealth's top 10 public golf courses, The Crossings is an easy drive from Washington D.C. and a convenient stop for travelers along I-95. Joe Lee's design makes full use of the natural landscape of the former Halfe Sink area, routing rolling fairways through dense forest with strategically placed bunkers throughout. On the front nine, several holes play from elevated tees down to landing areas below, adding variety and visual interest to the round.
