The Chimneys Golf Course

Rated 4.5 by Hole19 golfers and one of the most-played courses in Georgia on Hole19, The Chimneys Golf Course in Winder, Georgia draws consistent attention from public-access players across the region. Designed by Phillip Ballard and Eagle Greens Ltd. and opened in 2002, the 18-hole, par-72 layout stretches 6,384 yards from the back tees. Native rock hand-laid throughout the course gives it a distinctive character, reinforced by pedestal tees, elevation changes, creek crossings, and rock-faced bunkers. Hole 11 is a standout, with its green guarded by dramatic rock-faced bunkers. The pro shop carries men's and women's apparel, footwear, golf balls, gloves, bags, and gift items, along with snacks, beer, and Coca-Cola products. A clubhouse patio is available on site. The driving range is open daily during daylight hours with no tee times required. Professional lessons are available for all skill levels, including group sessions, corporate clinics, and PGA Jr League.
