The Amelia River Club

The Amelia River Club is a Tom Jackson-designed par 72 in Fernandina Beach, Florida, and one of the most-played courses in Florida on Hole19. The 18-hole layout stretches to 6,808 yards from the back tees, winding through a forest of live oaks, sabal palms, pines, and wax myrtles. TifEagle greens, manicured fairways, and demanding pin positions give the course its reputation as one of North Florida's most prestigious tracks — a fair test for beginners and low-handicappers alike. Several holes, including the 1st, 5th, and 13th, run along the edge of Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport, offering wide-open fairways reminiscent of a traditional links layout. The remainder of the course tightens considerably, with individual trees and tree clusters that reward accurate ball placement and careful course management.
