Teiho Country Club

Teiho Country Club is a 36-hole hillside course in Toyota, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, built around wide fairways, large greens, and shallow bunkers. The front nine plays through gently rolling terrain lined with small pine groves. Fairways are generous but long, suiting big hitters. The first hole uses a central cherry tree as a natural aiming point, while the second bends left — attempting the shortcut risks an OB penalty. The back nine matches the front in length and width. The 12th crosses a valley with a deep bunker and OB right, demanding careful placement. The 16th carries over water, with OB again right, so club and line selection are critical. Across both nines, the main challenge is distance: the par-3s and par-4s run long throughout, rewarding players who can move the ball.
