Higashi Nagoya Country Club (East) is a 36-hole hillside layout in Toyota, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, where natural elevation changes shape every round. The East course is the more demanding of the two. Its terrain is genuinely varied, featuring downhill tee shots, dogleg holes, and carries over water. Out-of-bounds lines run relatively close throughout, and the greens feature meaningful undulation, demanding accurate approaches and careful putting. The West course presents a different character: framed by mountain foothills, its fairways appear to roll and weave, but the routing is largely flat once you are on the ground. Both layouts are long and play to a high level of difficulty, making the full 36 holes a serious test for any golfer.
