Tanglewood Park Golf (Reynolds) is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in North Carolina, and it's easy to see why. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., this 18-hole layout rewards accuracy and shot-shaping over raw distance. Elevation changes appear on many holes, and the sloping, tree-lined fairways punish wayward drives. Numerous doglegs call for draws and fades from the back tees, while a well-placed tee shot — often with a fairway wood or hybrid — typically sets up a mid to short iron approach. Multiple tee options spanning 4,611 to 6,567 yards make the course accessible to all skill levels. Risk-reward opportunities appear throughout the round, tempting players to take on more than the layout will easily give. The 18th hole, a 411-yard par 4, is widely regarded as the toughest on the course — a narrow, uphill fairway flanked by a deep bunker left and woods right, leading to a small, elevated green that rarely yields birdies.
