Salem Glen Golf & Country Club, designed by Nicklaus Design, is an 18-hole course in North Carolina, United States, combining links-style and Carolina mountain-style layouts across a yardage range of 4,816 to 6,810 yards. Golf Digest's Best Places to Play awarded it four stars. Several holes define the layout's character. The par-5 4th plays 566 yards from an elevated tee with a meandering creek left and trees right. The par-4 13th requires a tee shot that carries a 70-foot deep ravine. The par-5 14th stretches 550 yards over a ravine to a long, shallow green cut into a hillside. The par-3 17th plays 193 yards, flanked by creeks both in front of and behind a large green. Practice is supported by a state-of-the-art Trackman Range with a covered, lit hitting area, commercial heaters, and music — open 365 days a year, day and night. The pro shop carries exclusive merchandise. Jack's Grille and Bear's Club provides dining on site: Jack's Grille is open to the public, while Bear's Club is members only, with an extensive wine list and full bar service.
