Soaring Eagles Golf Course is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in New York, and it's easy to see why it draws attention. This 18-hole layout owes its character to the last ice age. A retreating glacier deposited deep layers of sand, gravel, and silt across the land, and buried ice blocks melted over time to leave water-filled depressions known as kettle ponds scattered throughout the course. The result is a naturally varied terrain that shapes both the scenery and the challenge. The design itself is notably distinctive — of the 18 holes, only two run parallel to each other, giving the course an unusually open and non-repetitive feel.
