Skungamaug River Golf Club

Skungamaug River Golf Club, a semi-private 18-hole course in Coventry, Connecticut, was designed by Chet Jenkins and John Motycka and opened in 1965. The layout plays to a par of 70 over 5,785 yards. Practice options include an all-grass driving range, a bent grass putting green, and individual or group instruction. Beginner group lessons run every Tuesday and Thursday evening through spring and summer. The clubhouse is a bar and grill set inside an 18th-century barn converted into an English-style pub, serving light lunch and open from 11AM until 30 minutes after sunset in season. A golf shop is also on site.
