Silo Point Country Club

Silo Point Country Club sits in Southbury, Connecticut, and is open to visiting golfers as a public-access course. Designed by Al Zikorus and opened in 1967, the 18-hole, par-72 layout plays between 5,500 and 6,241 yards across foothills terrain alongside the Pomperaug River. Practice options include a putting green walkable from the parking lot to the first tee, and a driving range with grass tees available Friday through Sunday and on holidays. The pro shop occupies a converted barn from the 1800s, featuring 15-foot cathedral ceilings and exposed beams. The clubhouse includes floor-to-ceiling picture windows overlooking the practice green and several holes.
