Shrewsbury Golf Club

Shrewsbury Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-70 parkland course in England, United Kingdom, designed by C K Cotton and opened in 1972. From the white tees it measures 6,207 yards; the red tees play to 5,586 yards. The layout shifts in character across the round. The front nine runs across flat, lush, tree-lined fairways, while the back nine introduces undulating ground, water hazards, and fast greens with subtle borrows throughout. Practice facilities include a practice ground, putting green, bunkered short-game area, and a coaching bay where PGA Professionals are available for lessons. The pro shop stocks equipment and clothing from Taylormade, Callaway, Titleist, Mizuno, Galvin Green, Footjoy, and Oscar Jacobson, and offers custom fittings. The clubhouse occupies an original 19th-century farm building with traditional features. The restaurant is open daily, serving snacks and full meals before or after rounds. The spike bar is fully licensed from 11am and includes an extensive wine selection and spacious lounge.
