Shirkey Golf Course in Richmond, Missouri has hosted a varied calendar of events including the Triple Divot 3 Man Scramble, Sr. 3 Man Yellow Ball Tournament, Sr. 3 Man Scramble, Boy Scouts of America Tournament, Wellington Napoleon Booster Club Tournament, and Richmond Chamber of Commerce Tournament. Designed by Chet Mendenhall and opened in 1969, the semi-private 18-hole layout plays to a par 71 across 5,500 to 7,020 yards. Zoysia fairways and tee boxes are paired with bent grass greens. Golf Digest ranked Shirkey as a top public course in the Kansas City area with a 4½-star rating. A driving range is available on site. The clubhouse includes a banquet room.
