Shinrin Koen Golf Club (West) is an 18-hole hillside course in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, designed by Uichi Ueda — the course from which his design legacy here began. The layout rolls across generous, sweeping terrain with each hole fully separated by mature trees. Three ponds of varying sizes add both visual appeal and strategic challenge, while the course also features carries over valleys and through wooded sections. Distance is a defining characteristic throughout, rewarding accurate ball-striking from tee to green.
