Schaffer's Mill Golf & Lake Club

Schaffer's Mill Golf & Lake Club is an 18-hole, par-71 private course in California's Martis Valley, stretching beyond 7,000 yards and designed by Johnny Miller and John Harbottle. The club opened in 2008. The layout moves through firs, spruce, and Ponderosas with elevation changes of up to 400 feet, and 360° views of Martis Valley, Lookout Mountain, and the Carson Range. Practice options include lessons, clinics, and Junior Golf Camps. The Sawyer restaurant serves a locally crafted all-day menu from an indoor and outdoor bar with views of Lookout Mountain and the golf course. Additional on-site venues include Peg's Poolside for breakfast or lunch, The Whipsaw on the 10th hole for lunch and refreshments, and a Private Dining Suite. The club hosts a regular tournament calendar covering Club Championships, Four Member Scramble, The Short Cut Part 2, Couple's Club Championship, Annual Men's Summerwood, and Annual Women's Summerwood.
