Sapona Golf Club

Sapona Golf Club, a public 18-hole course in North Carolina, United States, was designed by Ellis Maples and Ed Say and opened in 1968. The layout plays to a par 71 across gently rolling terrain lined with stately trees and shaped by classic bunkering. Hole 13 is a 203-yard par 3 that rewards an aggressive line but allows a safer approach down the left. Hole 18 closes at 552 yards, a par 5 ranked among the five hardest on the course, where avoiding the short-sided bunker is key. A driving range is available for warm-up before the round. The Sapona Grill serves casual lakeside eats, cold drinks, and friendly vibes. The clubhouse also includes a TrackMan Indoor Golf Simulator, a pool, an Event Pavilion, and the S2 Sim & Sports Lounge.
