Sandy Lodge Golf Club

Sandy Lodge Golf Club is a private 18-hole course in Northwood, England, designed by Harry Vardon and opened in 1910. It has been featured on the top 100 Golf Courses website and is rated 4.8 by 90+ Hole19 golfers, making it a popular round among Hole19 golfers in England. The layout is built on sandy soil with exceptional drainage, producing crisp fairways and true, fast putting surfaces. Distinctive sleeper-faced bunkers define the visual character throughout. Hole 2 presents an enormous hazard that inspired the course's own links-style revetted practice bunker. Sandy Lodge has hosted the English Senior Womens Championship and Regional Open Qualifying rounds between 2015 and 2019. Practice facilities include a 12-bay driving range with new mats at variable tee heights and distance flags from 50 to 200 yards, an 18-hole undulating putting green, and a USGA-standard chipping area designed by Ricky Willison with a revetted practice bunker and four flag positions. The clubhouse has a large, contemporary restaurant serving freshly-prepared dishes, suited to larger parties and golf societies, plus a bar and lounge with a terrace overlooking the course.
