Description
San Lameer Golf Course, located in Southbroom on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, is a conservation haven home to 195 bird species and abundant wildlife including Impala, Duiker, Reedbuck, and Bushbuck. Designed by Peter Matkovich and Dale Hayes, the 18-hole layout is sculpted around one of the last remaining wetland forests on the South Coast. The course weaves through open glades, forest, and wetlands, with the Indian Ocean providing a constant backdrop. Sensitive vegetation was carefully avoided during design, and indigenous plants and shrubs are integrated throughout as natural course features. A recently renovated clubhouse completes the experience. Rated 4.7 by Hole19 golfers, it is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in KwaZulu-Natal.

Greens are different than what I am used to, assuming the grass they use in KZN is different than the highveld greens in Johannesburg? The carts could do with an upgrade, but overall, an amazing course!
