San Angelo Country Club

San Angelo Country Club, a private 18-hole course in San Angelo, Texas, was designed by John Bredemus and opened in 1921. The layout moves through rolling hills lined with pecan, live oak, and mesquite trees, with creeks and the Concho River shaping the terrain. Hole 3 carries a piece of original Bredemus design intent: he placed a pond in the low ground between two hills just off the ladies tee box, left of the mesquite tree. A fully equipped driving range is available, with range plans offered. Three PGA golf professionals on staff provide private lessons, clinics, and camps for players of all ages. The Golf Shop carries men's and women's apparel, equipment, and essentials. The clubhouse includes locker rooms, a formal dining room, a hardwood floor ballroom, three private conference rooms, and an outdoor patio and lawn overlooking the Concho River.
