Sammons Golf Links

Sammons Golf Links is an 18-hole championship course located off I-35 in Temple, Texas, first opened in 1922 and recently renovated to bring fresh life to one of the community's longest-standing venues. The renovation introduced Emerald Bermuda grass greens and a re-routed layout that returns both nines to the clubhouse. Highlights include one of the most demanding par 5s and a collection of standout par 3s in Central Texas. The course plays around Lake Polk and along Bird Creek, with 16 holes featuring water in play — making strategy and precise shot execution essential on nearly every hole. At par 70, the course stretches from 4,727 yards at the forward tees to 6,562 yards from the championship tees. Four sets of tee boxes ensure golfers of all skill levels will find an appropriate and engaging challenge.
