Salt Creek Golf Club

Salt Creek Golf Club, a public links-style course in Chula Vista, California, plays across rolling foothills with the San Miguel Mountains as a backdrop. The layout spans 4,942 to 6,829 yards over 18 holes at par 72. Hole 7 is the course's most challenging par 3, while hole 16 draws attention for both its views and its risk/reward setup. Golf Digest has named the course a 'Best Places to Play' selection, and it has been voted 'Best Value Golf Course' in San Diego. The practice setup is extensive. A 25-acre two-tiered all-grass driving range anchors the facility, supported by three chipping greens surrounded by five practice bunkers and a dedicated Chip, Flip and Flop area with eight greens, grass tees, and a multi-level bunker — voted San Diego's best practice facility. The Salt Creek JR. Golf Academy is run by Director Phillip Schmidt III, who brings more than 22 years of instruction experience. The clubhouse includes a Pro Shop and The Grill, a bar and grill on site.
