Ryfors Golfklubb stands on a piece of golf history in Jonköping County, Sweden. The Sager brothers laid out Scandinavia's first golf course here in 1888 — a six-hole layout with square greens — making this one of the oldest sites in Nordic golf. The club was formally established in 1988 to mark the centenary of that original course, following the restoration of the historic short-hole layout. By 1996 the facility had grown into a full 18-hole course, offering generous fairways and undulating greens set within enchanting natural surroundings. The result is a varied, challenging round that carries genuine historical weight alongside modern playing quality.
