Ruimsig Country Club

Ruimsig Country Club is a semi-private, 18-hole inland links course in Roodepoort, Gauteng, South Africa, designed by Gary Player and opened in 1986. The layout plays across rolling terrain with large undulating greens, dams, and bunkers throughout. The par-18 finishing hole brings water into play on the right. The course has hosted Skins events (1989–1993), a non-white PGA championship in 1986, and an ABSA Winter Tour event in 1998, and holds a Silver rating from Compleat Golfer magazine. Practice facilities include a driving range with an Advanced Technology Centre and professional coaching for all ages and abilities, led by a PGA Professional. The pro shop is headed by a PGA Head Professional. The Eagle's Nest Bar overlooks the course and serves breakfast, lunch, snacks, and cold beverages. The Coppa Bar by Jessica's is also on site. Rated 4.2 by Hole19 golfers, Ruimsig Country Club is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Gauteng.
