Description
Set on high bluffs over the river in Alabama, RTJ Golf Trail at The Shoals (Schoolmaster) is an 18-hole resort course that opened in 2005 and stretches to nearly 8,000 yards. Tree-lined fairways run narrow throughout, and well-protected bent grass greens add precision demands. Hole 18 plays along those high bluffs, while hole 2 features a waterfall guarding the green. The course has hosted the Couples Championship and is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Alabama. A shared driving range is available, though it closes for at least part of the day each Tuesday.
