Royal Tara Golf Club

Royal Tara Golf Club is a 27-hole semi-private parkland course in County Meath, Ireland, designed by Des Smyth and opened in 1995. Rolling terrain is framed by mature beech, oak and ash trees, and the layout plays across a yardage range of 4,723 to 5,978 metres on sand-based greens. The course was named Leinster Parkland Course of the Year 2023 by The Golfers Guide to Ireland, and has hosted the Ladies All Ireland Championship 2009, the All Ireland Cups and Shields Final 2013, and the Leinster U18 Youths Open Championship 2024. It is rated 4.6 by 90+ Hole19 golfers. A driving range and practice area cover the long game, pitching and putting. The Tara Restaurant seats 90 and serves Afternoon Tea, Carvery and full A La Carte menus, with views of the 9th and 18th greens and al fresco dining on two balconies. A pro shop is on site for member and visitor inquiries.
