Royal Hobart Golf Club

Set at Seven Mile Beach in Tasmania, Australia, Royal Hobart Golf Club is an 18-hole semi-private course designed by Vern Morcom and opened in 1916. The layout is built on a sand base with fairway and greenside bunkers throughout the design. The club has hosted the Tasmanian Open, the Australian Amateur, the Australian Women's Amateur, and the 1971 Qantas Australian Open. It ranks as one of the most-played courses in Tasmania on Hole19. Practice facilities include two practice fairways, a putting green, a chipping area with an extensive chipping green complex, and PGA Professionals available for individual or group tuition. The fully stocked Pro Shop is on site. The Bar & Restaurant is open to the public Tuesday through Sunday for lunch, with a cocktail menu, Tasmanian beverages, and tap beer including RHGC Royal Lager. Function spaces are available, with the main space accommodating up to 120 seated guests.
