Rams Hill Golf Club

Rams Hill Golf Club is an 18-hole public course in Borrego Springs, California, designed by renowned architect Tom Fazio. Golf Week ranked it the third best resort course in California in 2017, behind only Pebble Beach and Spyglass. Once an exclusive private club, the course is now open to the public at reasonable rates — rare for a Fazio design, most of which are private or tied to high-end resorts. Five sets of tees stretch the layout to just over 7,200 yards. What sets it apart from a typical desert course is the dramatic elevation change, with views dropping hundreds of feet to the desert floor below. Quiet mountain vistas, streams, ponds, lakes, and waterfalls round out an experience that is hard to match in the region.
