Quinta do Vale Golf Resort

Quinta do Vale Golf Resort is a resort-access course in the Algarve, Portugal, designed by Severiano Ballesteros and opened in 2008. The 18-hole, par-72 layout stretches 6,216 metres across valleys and hillsides, with natural lagoons, water hazards, doglegs, and an elevated back nine. Hole 7, the stroke index 1 hole, introduces water on the second shot. Hole 18 was designed with tournaments in mind and plays to a green with views of the Guadiana River. The course is rated 4.4 by 100+ Hole19 golfers. Practice facilities include a 26,788 m² driving range split into two zones — the south side accommodating 30 players, the north side 65 — plus a putting green near the 1st tee, a chipping green with an adjacent bunker, and an academy course that converts into seven short-game teaching areas with chipping, pitching zones, and two large putting greens. The Golf Shop carries brands including Callaway, Titleist, Ecco, and J.Lindberg, alongside exclusive Quinta do Vale logoed items. Restaurant Quinta do Vale is a spacious terrace restaurant with views across 15 holes and the 18th green to the Guadiana River.
