Purgatory Golf Club

Purgatory Golf Club is a public, 18-hole links-style course in Indiana, United States, designed by Ron Kern and ranked among America's 100 Greatest Public Courses, America's Top 50 Courses for Women, and #1 in Indiana. The layout stretches from 4,562 to 7,754 yards at par 72 across open terrain defined by tall prairie grass rough, water hazards, very few trees, and more than 130 bunkers filled with white crushed limestone. Hole 17 features an island green surrounded by two acres of bunkers. It is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Indiana. Practice facilities include a driving range over three football fields long with a bent grass teeing area 100 yards wide and 40 yards deep plus 20 artificial mat stations, a 7,000 square foot putting green, and a separate 10,000 square foot chipping and pitching area. Elevation Golf provides PGA instruction, group lessons, junior coaching, private instruction, women's classes, and golf fitness programs. An Executive Chef prepares food for outings at the clubhouse restaurant.
