Pun Hlaing Golf Club sits in Yangon, Myanmar (Burma), on the banks of the Hlaing River, offering public access to an 18-hole, par-72 layout stretching to 7,102 yards. Designed by Gary Player, the course is built through tropical landscaping with water hazards, penalty areas, and bunkers throughout. Three holes stand out for their difficulty. Hole 2 is the hardest on the course — a 425-yard par 4 requiring a water carry on the approach with deep bunkers guarding the green. Hole 7 is a par 5 with a water carry off the tee and a heavily fortified green. Hole 18 closes the round with a par 5 and a semi-island green surrounded by water and a pot bunker. Rated 4.5 by 70+ Hole19 golfers. The driving range includes indoor and outdoor hitting bays, multiple target greens, and floodlit evening sessions from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. A putting green, short game area with maintained bunkers, and PGA-certified instruction for private and group lessons are also available.
