Hole 4 at Providence Country Club is regarded as one of the best par 3s in Charlotte, where a pond runs the entire left side of a classic Redan design. Opened in 1989 and designed by Dan Maples, the private 18-hole, par-72 layout in Charlotte, North Carolina stretches to 7,021 yards and works through bunkers, a creek, and multiple water hazards. The course appeared on the North Carolina Golf Panel's Top 100 rankings list in 2023. Practice facilities include a full swing driving range, multiple putting greens, two short-game areas, and instruction from PGA professionals through clinics, camps, and personal lessons.
