Presidio Golf Course

Presidio Golf Course, in San Francisco, California, was designed by Robert Wood Johnstone, William McEwan, and Fowler & Simpson and opened in 1995. The public 18-hole layout stretches to 6,500 yards across hilly terrain lined with eucalyptus and Monterey Pine trees. Practice facilities include a large driving range, a 6-hole practice putting green, a short game area, and PGA professionals available for individual and group instruction, with clinics also on offer. The pro shop is on site. The Craftsman-style clubhouse features cherry wood paneling, vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, a large limestone fireplace, and French doors opening to views of the course and the Presidio.
