One of the best—if not the best—courses I’ve ever played in Portugal! The maintenance is excellent, the greens are spectacular, and the views are absolutely stunning. It’s quite challenging, but with focus, you can still have a great game. This was a birthday gift, and I truly appreciated the opportunity to spend my special day on such a beautiful course. Congratulations to the promoters for their excellent work—I hope to have the chance to play again and break 100!

One of the best layouts in Portugal. Currently featuring PGA-level grass cutting. One of the fastest greens in Portugal, comparable to Praia D’El Rey on its best days, but with better ball absorption(from my experience). The course mainly consists of technical holes, with some offering the opportunity to reach the green in different ways, bringing the risk/reward ratio into play. At certain moments, it reminded me of Monterrei. It’s bold from me to say, but I believe that with this course, Jorge Santana firmly establishes himself among the best golf course architects in the world. Ombria is also a great course, but this on is a statement. On 2-3 holes, the placement of the flags wasn’t ideal due to the speed of the greens, but that’s an easily fixable detail. Hole 17 is a stunning par 3.
