Penang Golf Resort has earned its reputation as the Jewel of the North, set across 500 acres within the Kepala Batas Township in Seberang Perai Utara, Penang, Malaysia. The 18-hole championship layout was originally designed by former two-time Malaysia Open champion and golf course architect Graham Marsh, and has since been redesigned by Nigel B. Douglas. True to Marsh's design philosophy, the course strikes a balance between development and nature, with fairways, roughs, and tees turfed in Zoysia and greens carpeted with Bermuda Tifdwarf. Developed by Penang Golf Resort Berhad, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bertam Properties Sdn Bhd, the resort integrates golf with the broader township's property and natural environment.
