Bukit Jambul Golf Club - Penang Golf Club

Bukit Jambul Golf Club - Penang Golf Club is the only championship 18-hole golf course on Penang island, located in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia. Originally built in 1984, the course underwent a major renovation and reopened in November 2012 with new turf and structural improvements designed to raise the challenge level. The original layout was preserved, but the greens are now larger and more undulating, tee boxes have been reshaped, bunkers refreshed with new sand, and most ponds expanded with new retainer walls. Cart paths were also extended throughout the course. The course has a notable competitive history, having hosted the 31st Malaysian Open in 1992, won by Vijay Singh.
